1.浴衣(ゆかた)と着物の違いって!?女性の着物は、全部で大きく分けて8種類!もっともカジュアルな浴衣から豪華な振り袖までご紹介。

2. 留袖【TOME-SODE】
エレガントな黒留め袖(くろとめそで)は、文字通り黒い短い袖の着物です。未婚の女性の最礼装で、花嫁の母親や入学式、卒業式などで着られます。模様は、裾の部分にのみ付いています。Elegant黒留袖 【Kuro-Tome-Sode】, literally means black short sleeves.It is the most formal kimono for married woman. It is worn by bride’s mother at wedding party or formal ceremonies like graduate or entrance.Patterns are only written on the bottom of kimono.
▶黒留め袖は、両胸・両肩・背中に合わせて五つの紋があります。

色留め袖(いろとめそで)は、既婚・未婚どちらの女性も着ることができます。五つ紋であれば花嫁の姉妹や親戚、紋が三つならフォーマルなパーティーなど、一つ紋なら正式なお茶会などに着てくことができます。
色留め袖【IRO-TOME-SODE】Literaly means Colored short sleeves kimono. They can be worn by married and unmarried woman.

3.訪問着【HOUMON-GI】

付下げ(つけさげ)は、その縫製の仕方が名前の由来となっています。裾や肩にも模様があるのは訪問着と同じですが、広げた時にそれらが繋がっていないので縫製のとき柄あわせの必要がありません。ただし紋をひとつ付ければ、訪問着と同じ格になります。

5.色無地【IRO-MUJI】
模様のない色無地の着物です。紋をひとつ付ければ、結婚式や正式なお茶会に行ける格の高い着物です。

最後は、浴衣(ゆかた)です。最もカジュアルなタイプの着物で、下に襦袢(じゅばん=通常、着物の下には半襟を縫い付けた着物と同じ形の襦袢を着ます)を着る必要がなくさらりと一枚で着ることができます。夏のみ着ることができ、若い世代にも大人気でお祭りや花火大会などには欠かせません。
