１．飛石【TOBI-ISHI】Stepping Stones

Usually,  苔【KOKE】Mosses  are growing  over the ground of 露地【ＲＯＪＩ】gardens. As 苔【ＫＯＫＥ】is important subjection of appreciation for Japanese, so you have to walk on the steps of stones to avoid walking on it.

3.石灯篭【ISHI-D(T)OUROU】Stone-Lantern  It is a light to show the feet of a traveler.

4.手水鉢【CHOUZU-BACHI】 is a basin to rinse your hands and mouth and purify your spirit and body like you do at Shrines.

5.防人石【SAKIMORI-ISHI】

６．塵穴【CHIRI-ANA】 Dust Hall
It is not only hole for real dust but for dust of mind or heart.
Please through out dust of your heart or stress ,complains so on here before you come into a tea room.

7.刀掛【KATANA-KAKE】;KATANA fook. You cannot bring your sword or any arms into a tea room.So,you have to put it here (if you had it!).

 

8.にじり口【NIJIRI-GUCHI】

The entrance to tea room is very small and people has to bow and become humble mind to enter a tea room even who is noble man.
