Are Many Japanese people non religious?
One consideration of the reason many Japanese looks not so religious.
It seems that many Japanese people do not believe religion very enthusiastically because
despite there are so many Shinto Shrines and Buddhist temples around here and there,
If you ask Japanese “What is your religion?”,not a few people might even say “I’m non religious”.
It would be surprise for foreigners who have faiths,
but it can not be said that Japanese are not religious people.
Many faiths (which are Shinto, Buddhism and sometimes Confucianism) are blending into the lives and spirituality of the Japanese people, and even their lives themselves can be religious.
